  This place is absolutely AWFUL. It took me a while to learn my lesson but I have now. In 2015 I drove over a very large, deep pothole that made such a loud crack when I went over it that residents came out of their homes to check on me and my son. When I tried to drive away from the street my car started to smoke and died. I had it towed to Brown's and filed an insurance claim. When the adjuster came Leroy told my insurance that my engine death had nothing to do with hitting the pothole. SERIOUSLY!?! I had to pay the the $1800+ to fix it out of pocket. A year and a half later my engine locked up and needed to be replaced. I stupidly went back to Brown's bc they quoted me the lowest price. They had my car for over two months and I drove by everyday and saw it parked out front not being worked on. I finally started hounding them with calls several times a day and finally my car was moved to the back to be worked on. Three weeks later they called me to pick it up and when I arrived they asked for $550 over the quoted priced. I asked Leroy why they didn't call to inform me of this before I came to pick up my vehicle and he had no response. After I retrieved the car it had a severe gas leak that made the car stink so much I could smell the gas in my house. The radiator was leaking, the check engine light was on and my A.C. no longer worked. I dropped the car off to them two days later. Leroy called me three days after I had dropped it off to tell me the car was fixed and that the bill was $700+. I said I had no intention of paying that and he yelled, "Then come get your car!" and hung up on me. I did and when I arrived he said that they did not fix the A.C. bc it apparently had a coolant leak somewhere in the line and it would cost $250 for them to find it. I took my car keys and left. Recently I took my car to Rosewood Imports to get it tuned up and they informed me that compressor had been severely broken and that to anyone that opened the hood it was obvious that that was the issue. They also informed me that several bolts and sprockets were never tighten on the car which is why my check engine light had been on and I had been losing power while driving. I am furious. Do not take you car here. Go ANYWHERE ELSE.
